As a “handicapped person” who can even cut paper crookedly, I have looked at other people's DIY works countless times and envied to the eye - until I discovered the laser engraving machine this “magic weapon”!
Today, I'm going to share with you how I used the TYVOK S1 Laser Engraver to carve the Joker's “Double Life” into a wood panel in 3 steps, and make a wall decoration that will make Marvel fans scream. It's easy to get on board, so follow the tutorial to unlock your first piece of “divine decoration”!

Why choose it? When Marvel's Joker meets the “Handicap Friendly” Laser Engraver
If you're like me, you've been blown away by Arthur's transformation from stoicism to madness in The Joker, and you know the urge to bring the character's soul “home”! Traditional crafts require hand painting, carving, and sanding, and are too unfriendly to newbies, but laser engravers skip right over the “handicap threshold.”
No need to draw: AI design a good pattern, the machine automatically carves, the line is more accurate than hand-drawn;
3 steps to get it done: prepare materials → import files → coloring, the whole process does not exceed 3 hours;
The finished product is stunning: Arthur and the Joker's contrasting composition, comes with “human conflict” sense of art, hanging the living room directly into the “Marvel theme card place”.
(Whisper: even my mom quipped “Did you really make this?” !)
3-step tutorial: from “handicapped” to “great”, just follow it!
Step 1: 5 Minutes to Prepare “For Dummies” Materials
Core tools: TYVOK S1 laser engraver (newbie friendliness pulled full circle! The operation panel is easy to see, just turn on the machine and it works), computer (Installing the LaserGRBL software).

Material list: 3mm wooden board (900×900mm, I bought it at a certain treasure, a few dozen dollars), acrylic paints (red/white/black is a must, painting the evil smile of the clown relies on them).

Lazy welfare:use AI to design the clown picture in two panels, Arthur on the left and the clown on the right, reflecting the division of human nature.

Step 2: The machine automatically carves, lying down and waiting for the “miracle” to happen!
Import files: Drag the design into the LightBurn software, click on “resize” → set to 440 x 670mm (just spread the center of the board);
Parameter settings: power 95%, speed 650mm / min (this is the TYVOK S1 measured the best parameters, novice direct copy of the work, carved out of the lines super clear);

Start carving: fix the board on the carving machine platform, click “Start”, the machine will work automatically like a “magic brush”.At this time you can go to drink a cup of coffee, come back to see the pattern has been perfectly “printed” on the board!

Step 3: 5-minute coloring to bring “Two Faces of Life” to life.
Arthur: use light gray to paint the hair, beige base, the corners of the mouth slightly drooped, the eyes hide stoicism (refer to the movie where he wears a suit, instantly back to that heartbreaking scene);

Joker chapter: white painted all over the face, red “violence” brushed across the lips and nose, eyeshadow with black swept diagonally upward (remember to intentionally leave some “hairy edges”, the more unruly the more feeling!) .Finally spray a layer of varnish to protect the pigment, and the wall-hanging artifact is born!

Why This Wall Decor Is Driving Marvel Fans Crazy 3 “Go-To” Design Details
1.A double-sided composition, inscribed with “human struggle”:
Arthur on the left frowning down, the Joker on the right tilting his head and laughing maniacally, separated by a broken line -- like the movie's line, “Everyone can be the Joker,” and every time you look at it, you're reminded of the social metaphors behind the characters, more than just decorations, it's your Comic-Con “Exclusive Conversations”.

2.Tool advantage, let the “handicapped party” straighten up:
TYVOK S1's laser head is accurate to 0.1mm, even the wrinkles on the clown's face can be carved out, so you don't have to be afraid of “hand shaking to ruin everything”. People like me, who couldn't even use scissors well before, can actually make “professional-grade” works, and the sense of accomplishment is directly full!

3.Home C position booking, photo hair circle was asked to burst links:
Hanging in the living room sofa background wall, warm light a hit, shadow hierarchy absolute! Friends to come home directly out of the cell phone to take pictures, but also chased to ask “where to buy” - this time lightly a sentence “do it yourself”, simply more cool than buying luxury goods!

Thoughtful Tips for Newbies: I've stepped over these potholes for you!
✅ Choose 3mm or 5mm for wood panel: 3mm is lighter and faster to carve, preferred by beginners; 5mm is suitable for veterans who pursue three-dimensionality, but twice as expensive.
✅ What should I do if I turn over the color? : Don't panic if you paint it wrong! When wet, use a cotton swab to wipe off, dry with sandpaper to gently sand, re-coating on the line (personally tested effective).
✅ No engraving machine? : Don't worry! With TYVOK S1 exclusive newbie benefits (click the link to check it out), it's easy for students to get started.
Finally, you're just one attempt away from being a “god.”
I used to think that “crafts are for masters”, but the laser engraver really turned my perception upside down -- it turns out that you don't have to practice hard for ten years to make something you can be proud of. Especially when Marvel characters “come out” of the movies and become wall decorations that you build with your own hands, it's really hard to describe the emotion.
If you are also a Marvel fan and want to add some “storytelling decor” to your home, don't hesitate to follow the tutorial and try it once!
Remember: it's not a shame to be handicapped, it's a shame to be afraid to start.
