Controlled test: map surface height, rotate the labeled sheet 180 degrees, and place a retained coupon in the original bed zone. Interpretation: a failure that follows the sheet edge suggests bow or stock; one that stays in the zone suggests support, focus, or airflow. Action: correct the implicated geometry before changing process energy.
