Repeat Job Looks Different? Compare a Parameter Snapshot
Stop retuning and first compare a saved parameter snapshot with the last accepted job.
Start with the decision, not a setting
A July 2026 user reported that settings changed without notice and damaged a repeat result; a compact personalization workflow needs a reconstructable snapshot.
The useful method here is before/after evidence card recording file ID, layer values, focus method, blank lot, fixture, and software version before any corrective change.
Record the comparison that can change the answer
| Field | Last accepted | Current repeat | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| File and layer ID | A-17 / Name-Fill | Record current IDs | Restore only from approved copy |
| Focus method | Gauge + fixture F3 | Record actual method | Re-seat and reframe if different |
| Blank lot | C2406 | Record package lot | Use retained coupon if changed |
| Software state | Version and device profile | Export current state | Preserve both snapshots |
Follow the evidence in sequence
- Freeze the current job without editing it.
- Export the current layer and device values.
- Place them beside the last accepted snapshot.
- Change only the first proven difference and run an eligible retained coupon.
TYVOK P2 facts for file revision and layer values
The live P2 page describes a compact 450 nm blue-diode galvo machine; it is not a fiber or CO2 system; see the current TYVOK P2 configuration.

Buyer questions about file revision and layer values
Did the file change or only the machine values?
Compare the file ID, layer IDs, and saved values first; a matching filename is not proof that the contents match.
Can one accepted old-lot coupon still be reproduced?
Yes. A retained old-lot coupon helps separate a stock change from a file or setup change, but only for that documented condition.
When is a new baseline allowed?
Create a new baseline only after the changed state passes the shop's acceptance check and the owner records why the old baseline was retired.
